stash.

Privacy policy

Stash is built so that your data never leaves your device. Here is exactly what that means.

Last updated: June 2026

What Stash stores, and where

Everything you save in Stash, your conversations, the pages you read, your tags and highlights, is stored locally in your own browser using its storage. We do not run servers that receive it, and we cannot see it.

What Stash sends

Stash makes no network requests of its own while you use it. You can open your browser's network tab and watch it stay quiet.

The single exception is activating Stash Pro. If, and only if, you choose to activate a license, the license key you enter is sent to our payment provider (Gumroad) to confirm the purchase. No saved content is ever included, and Stash does not even hold the permission to make that request until the moment you click Activate.

What we collect about you

Nothing. Stash uses no analytics, no trackers, and no third-party scripts. We collect no personal information, sell nothing, and share nothing, because none of it ever reaches us.

Your control

Changes

This policy may be updated as Stash evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new date above.
